A very cold, wintery welcome to all of our new friends who subscribed over the past 2 months. Welcome to the Good Land Family!
We skipped a December update to slow down, rest, celebrate Christmas, and mark a few family birthdays (Esmeralda’s and Amaris’).
Now, we’re grateful to begin the new year with you and excited to share what’s been happening around the farm.

🚜 A Farm Thought
There’s a promise in Scripture (Romans 8:28) I want to share with you.
God is working all things for your good.
As much as I wish it did, this doesn’t mean everything in life will always feel good. And it certainly doesn’t mean we’ll get everything we want. Most of the time, what we want for ourselves isn’t actually what’s best for us.
It does, however, mean that the creator of the universe is always at work. Shaping. Protecting. Redirecting. Providing. Guiding. Correcting. Even when we don’t notice it.
When you plant a seed into the ground, you don’t assume nothing is happening just because you can’t see it yet. The most important work happens beneath the surface long before anything breaks through.
That’s how God works too.
This is why we’ve chosen our tagline: FOR YOUR GOOD.
We want you to always remember that when you trust Him, nothing in this life is ever wasted.

🍯 Honey Is Here!
We’re excited to finally share some of the best honey you'll ever taste!
It’s raw, unfiltered and unheated, which means the natural enzymes and nutrients are left intact, just the way honey was meant to be enjoyed.
While each bottle is hand-poured, sealed, and labeled by our family here in Waxhaw, NC, this honey was not harvested on our farm. It comes from a trusted local beekeeper who has been generously mentoring our family as we prepare to start our very own hives later this year.
We’re deeply grateful for his investment in us, and honored to share his honey with you first.
As part of the F&F Club, you can grab your first 12oz bottle for $10. We’ll be sharing it with everyone on social media next week, so don't wait too long.

This winter, we’ve been laying the groundwork for our 2-acre elderberry orchard.
Our mentor farm generously gifted us over 3,000 elderberry canes to get started. It will take 2-3 years for our bushes to produce enough fruit to fully serve our community, but this is a long-term investment we believe deeply in.
Until then, we’ll be sourcing fresh berries from Philipp’s Elderberry Farm in Lake City, SC to create our own organic products, starting with elderberry syrup, planned for February.
Planting this orchard will take many hands, and we’d love for our community to be part of it from the very beginning. No experience needed, just a willingness to help and spend some time outside together.
If you’d like to lend a hand, we’d love to have you join us on Friday, February 13 or Saturday, February 14. Click below to let us know!
